Shopify Collaborator

This guide explains how we will request collaborator access for your Shopify store in order to performe the entire integration with Fitle app with Shopify for viewing products, orders, and returns.

Requesting Collaborator Access for Your Store

To allow us to integrate our app with your Shopify store, we’ll need your store’s Shopify URL (e.g., xxxxx.myshopify.com) and your unique collaborator request code. Once we have those details, we will handle the rest.

For more detailed information on collaborator accounts, including security considerations, permissions, and removal processes, you can refer to Shopify’s official Collaborator Accounts documentation.

Steps We Will Take

  1. Request Access Provide Your Store URL and Collaborator Request Code After receiving your shopify store URL, we will send a collaborator access request through the Shopify Partner Dashboard. This will grant us the necessary permissions to integrate the custom app.

  2. Permissions We Will Request The following permissions will be requested to ensure the integration goes smoothly:

    • Manage and Install Apps and Channels: To create a custom app that allows to access data programmatically.
    • Orders: To view your store’s orders and more specifically, to view returns.
    • Products: To read your products.
    • Manage Settings: To create / edit our Fitle pixel events.
    • Themes and Edit Theme Code: To ensure the app integrates properly with your store’s theme.

Once we submit the request, you’ll receive a notification from Shopify where you can approve or deny the request. After approval, we’ll have the access needed to proceed with the integration.

If you need any assistance or have any questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
